The First Socio-environmental Forum on Green Hydrogen in the Region of Magallanes and Chilean Antarctica was held with the objective to have a dialogue supported by scientific evidence and the challenges that we may have to face during the development of the green hydrogen industry in Southern Chile, which main theme was Wildlife Management and their Interaction with H2V. With a successful call for attendees, the audience was formed by civilians, authorities, academics, schoolchildren and representatives of public services and private companies.

The Forum included a round table of discussion and presentations given by experts who addressed various perspectives on biodiversity and its interaction with the industry. Our Social and Environmental Manager, Francisco Gonzalez, gave a presentation on these issues and discussed the strategies we are developing in favor of environmental protection.

This Forum was organized by H2 Chile, jointly with H2V Magallanes, the Transform Green Hydrogen Magallanes Program, Corfo Magallanes and EINAS Environmental Consultants. Also, it was sponsored by the University of Magallanes, where the Forum took place.

Instances like these contribute to open a dialogue and establish commitment towards transparency for sustainable development inside this new industry.
